Gina Locatelli

Traditional Naturopath and Iridologist

“Getting to the root cause of your health issue”


In March of 2019, just days before Covid-19 became a household term, Gina gifted herself an education from Trinity School of Natural Health. It was time for her to do what she had always wanted to do and that was to learn about Holistic Health and help and educate others. In 2022, she became certified as a Traditional Naturopath (CTN) and a Master Iridologist.


A Traditional Naturopath addresses issues of the Mind, Body, and Spirit, and teaches the prevention of illness through the Foundations of Health. Balance, nutrition and happiness are the goals. As a CTN, Gina listens to her client, observes physical signs, and performs gentle, non-invasive testing (pH testing, muscle response testing, iris assessment) in order to triangulate the root cause of a client’s complaint. She then recommends lifestyle, dietary and any vitamins or supplements. Gina’s goal is to corroborate through analysis in order to determine the root cause of a client’s health complaint and make suggestions utilizing natural means to alleviate or eliminate the chief complaints.

As an Internationally Board Certified Master Iridologist, Gina can assess the body’s inner terrain through the signs in the iris: color, pigmentations and structure. From this appraisal, Gina can provide guidance on how to support the body through diet, exercise, supplementation, and/or homeopathy, as well as lifestyle changes. Iridology dates back to ancient Egypt, to Chaldea in Babylonia, and to ancient Greece. It is documented in stone inscriptions, painted ceramic artifacts, and the writings of Hippocrates.

Gina is Board Certified in: Naturopathy, Homeopathy, Flower Essences, and Aromatherapy, and she is Internationally Board Certified in Iridology (IIPA). She has served her community as: President/Trustee of the County Board of Education, President/Trustee of the Boys & Girls Club of Santa Cruz, Chairman of the Agriculture/Horticulture Department of the Santa Cruz County Fair, and Vice President/Founding Member of the Santa Cruz Fair Foundation.
